The Iowa Bonsai Association (IBA) was founded in 1979 to promote the appreciation and development of bonsai. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to developing bonsai horticultural and artistic skills. Our membership is open to anyone with an interest in the art of bonsai. Membership Meetings

Iowa Bonsai Association meetings are held the third Saturday of each month (except December) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, 909 Robert D. Ray Drive in Des Moines, Iowa. You may come and go as your time permits and work on trees or just socialize and observe. The meetings include open study groups and presentations covering a wide range of topics. See our CALENDAR for more information.
